Pat Newmann has over 25 years of highly successful experience coaching and consulting with individuals, work teams, and organizations to achieve maximum effectiveness. Pat works with leaders to build organizations where employees learn, grow and enjoy themselves as they perform—in an inspired way—in support of visions and goals and daily practices they have had a hand in shaping.
Pat assists organizations, leaders, and teams to design and implement change, including clarifying direction and values, shaping leadership practices, and developing strategies and processes for implementing the desired changes. Her work includes building cross-group partnerships to enable successful collaboration across organizational units.
Some of the organizations Pat has worked with include Apple, Autodesk, Avista Corporation, Blue Shield of California, Dolby Laboratories, ebay, Genentech, Hewlett-Packard, Intel, Kaiser-Permanente, McKesson Corp., Medtronic, Sierra Pacific Power Resources, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Stanford University, Sterling Savings Bank, and Weisscomm Partners.
Prior to working as a consultant, Pat held senior leadership positions in several major organizations, where she managed and lead internal consulting groups responsible for equipping leaders and teams with skills required to successfully navigate continuous change.
She has a Masters Degree in Behavioral Sciences from the University of Minnesota and completed doctoral coursework in Business/Organizational Behavior and Education at the University of California at Berkeley. She is certified in numerous instruments and programs that advance leadership and team effectiveness.
Pat lives in Marin County in Northern California with her son and Snickerdoodle the cat.
